Students of VCI need to master semantic discourse analysis as part of the exegetical process. VCI uses a specific approach to exegesis and semantic discourse analysis to equip students to interpret the Bible in depth for ministry purposes. When starting their studies in a VCI program, students would already have been exposed to the specific approach of VCI through the Foundation Training modules that they had done. That would have given them the opportunity to decide whether they want to enroll with VCI.
