Veritas College Malawi was started by Martin and Julia Etter in 1999.

Training in MalawiVeritas provides a flexible and skill oriented curriculum, in the local language of Chichewa, for training leaders and discipling believers. The training method used by Veritas equips leaders not only to become better trained themselves, but also to pass their training on to others. Training is run in Malawi and the Tete province of Mozambique.

Our on-the-job ministry training approach is known as Integrated Leadership Development (ILD). Participants are trained using the Veritas material and then they apply what they have learnt in their ministry settings, for example:
  • facilitating Bible and leadership training in their own churches
  • training pastoral leaders, preachers and teachers
  • sharpening their preaching and teaching skills
  • training facilitators to do the above
Veritas College works with churches such as the Church of Central Africa Presbyterian (CCAP), the Zambezi Evangelical Church, the Apostolic Faith Mission, the Baptist Church, the Full Gospel of God Church and a variety of other churches.
