Veritas College Malawi began its work in 1999 to make Bible and leadership training accessible to church leaders and members for whom residential Bible college training is out of reach. Since then, several thousand members in city churches and rural communities have been trained by a network of local facilitators from different churches and denominations.
We work with rural churches and villages to improve livelihoods through enabling a God-centred, caring approach to the management of the environment and the earth’s resources.
Our goal is to enable local churches to develop a God-centred, biblically-based vision for equipping members for service and leadership that transforms their local communities and the environment holistically.

Twelve farmers from six churches took part in a refresher course focusing on Biblical teaching which connects their Christian faith with farming.
The Veritas Team hosted Prof John Wibberley (RURCON) to speak to farmers’ groups in four congregations and hold a public lecture in Lilongwe on the theme of Christ, Creation and Trees.
A trainers’ course for church members to facilitate module 2 of our Bible training was attended by 14 participants.
As a first time event for Veritas College Malawi, a Small Business Skill Course was held from the 9th to 13th July 2012.
The launch of the Certificate in Biblical Ministry course is a milestone in the history of Veritas College Malawi.
